Yummy soft brownies with delicious melted chocolate orange oozing out as you cut them open!

Recipe

I took a basic brownie recipe and just added the chocolate orange pieces into the batter and topped it with more before putting it in the oven. I also used a food processor to mix my mixture just because its quicker and will be better combined.

Ingredients

You don't have to use brown sugar i just prefer it, the actual recipe also had more than 100g but personally I didn't think it needed it. I also added a touch of honey to give them that gooey texture.

Method

- Preheat oven to 180C/ Fan 160C/ Gas 4.

- Mix the butter and sugar till combined.

- Add the flour, eggs and cocoa making sure to mix really well!. At this point I also added two tbs of honey.

- Depending on how you want your chocolate orange pieces you can chop full sized chocolate segments up or just add a handful of the miniature chocolate orange pieces in to the mix.

-Line your baking dish with foil and pour the mix in to the tray. I personally prefer a small but tall tray so that the brownie pieces are nice and thick!

- Bake in the oven for 20-25 mins.

-After taking it out of the oven i let mine call for 10 mins then put it in the fridge to set the centre as it was a little too gooey for me.

At this point you will be dying to try some!. Cut yourself a big slice and enjoy! (once consumed, maybe one or two peaces more ... let others in the household know its ready ;)

Happy Friday :) x
